Senior Planner
CurrentIn my current Senior Planner role, I coordinate land use planning entitlement processes, write plans and staff reports, and make recommendations to local boards (i.e., Town Council, Planning Board, and an appeals board). I have strict regulatory deadlines established by local law and state statute that require me to review development applications for completeness as well as compliance with local development standards–all the while corresponding with applicants–which is then presented both in a staff report and a formal presentation to the appropriate local board.

Two participants audited the course; eight participants successfully completed the course and demonstrated increased knowledge.• Organized and planned two national, capacity-building, USAID-funded GIS conferences and presented on participatory GIS, cartographic design, and global positioning systems for over forty professionals in environmental fields in Mexico.• Administered and directed funding from USAID to develop, organize, and plan a summer camp for thirty primary school students, four primary school teachers, and two outreach coordinators with the Mexican National Institute of Astrophysics, Optics and Electronics.See Description of Service below for detailed summary of projects and achievements.
