About Alain Begun
I spent 20+ years managing marketing, business development and communications for major media brands including People, Better Homes & Gardens, The Week and GateHouse Media. From launching web sites and creating custom content studios to mentoring marketing and biz dev teams with passion and a flair for generating new revenue, I enjoyed those roles immensely. Now I've taken all I've learned to launch my own media company - River Towns Media LLC. Our first publication, River Journal and our web site riverjournalonline.com, serve the residents and businesses of the Westchester River Towns from Irvington to Ossining. In one year we grew the revenue by 40%. In March 2020 we launched our 2nd publication - River Journal North - and now deliver a circulation of 50,000 households from Irvington, NY to Peekskill, NY.
