I am a multi-disciplinary researcher, practitioner, and artist advocating for just and regenerative action to support healthy human relationships with the biosphere, and particularly plants. I have over ten years of experience in the United States, Brazil, and Indonesia in forest restoration, research in forest and social ecology, and social-environmental project design and implementation in collaboration with smallholders and traditional and Indigenous peoples. I hold a Master of Forest Science degree from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies and a Certificate in Sustainable Community Development with a specialization in food security and agriculture, and my academic research addressing governance of forest restoration and non-timber forest products has been cited by CIFOR and by key researchers in the field. I welcome collaboration with individuals and organizations implementing evidence-based and bottom-up programs addressing restoration, regenerative agriculture, food sovereignty, equitable supply chains for forest products, and local land rights.
