In high school, I worked various small jobs including as a party host at Jumping World Trampoline Park, and Skyzone Trampoline Park where I hosted children's birthday parties. After leaving those jobs, I worked as a Student Apprentice at Baker Elementary School, where I assisted in supervising children in their after-school program. After graduating high school, I worked at Young Chef's Academy where I taught young children how to prepare and create meals. In this role, I led summer camps, and other small classes, including birthday parties. With these jobs, I was able to learn very important communication skills, customer service, and task management.Since being in college, I have worked with DYMON in the Rough Non-Profit, where I have gained a majority of my professional skills including project management, team organization, cross-sectional team leadership, and online administration skills. Most currently, I work as a Program Coordinator at Rocklife Youth Non- Profit. With this employer, I work in a few separate roles that all come together to benefit the organization. In one role, my job is primarily to work directly with the children in improving their academic and social skills. In another role, I work as an executive administrator where I have become proficient in many areas including Google and Microsoft suites. In this role, I also learned how to transition from In-person, to remote, which has allowed me to be fluid in the transition of hybrid work. Finally, I work as a staff trainer, where I float to other schools and sites and train new staff on the proper procedures and protocols for working in our organization. This allows me to fully prepare out new employees for working with such a high impact group of students, and allows them to learn how to affect real change in the students we service.
