As Operations Director I have total responsibility for the Cash and Carry operation, which is managed through a loyal team. Responsible for overseeing domestic buying, I work with the buying department to help plan and promote the business in every way possible. From promotions to special corporate events. I play a part in buying dealing directly with suppliers in the specialist frozen foods and imports.Also part of the NPD Committee I have a key role in the decision making of listing and producing new lines. I have input into packaging design and final approval. I have attended Own Label exhibitions internationally in search of new lines.The Warehouse offers over 9,000 lines across the 80,000 Sq Ft sales floor and can source a further 2000, in addition the 40,000 Sq Ft backstage area offers storage as we distribute across Europe and the Rest of The World at present.2015 saw the company take another huge step forward. I was given the opportunity to take the company through the accreditation process in order to achieve BRC certification for Storage and Distribution. Working with consultants I project managed the entire process in attaining the accreditation.
