~20 Years spent around Engineering, Procurement, Construction management for the development / extension of Refinery, Petrochemical and Oil and Gas facilities onshore and offshore learning about contribution of Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical and Instrumentation right from the Initiation of the Project till Close-out / Handover.Every time, Kicking-off with joy of approved baseline, while ups and downs thoroughly, securing revision was always tedious and bagful among stakeholders, along with incremental learning curve with lots of KPI's.Despite Revenue, Profit and Positive Cash Flow being the target, Safe work environment, Quality of the deliverables and End-User's agenda within sensible cost, were always mattered with top priority.Communication been the focused criteria among team and involved stakeholders, resulted into time bound project deliveries, contributing towards the successful targeted achievements. Strategic and mindful relationships among the tasks and phases, always Borne better outcomes.It has been interesting to learn about the role of logical intellect during development / extension of project's plans, prioritising the identification of Risks, its assessment (qualitative / quantitative) and brainstorming Risk response plans, while conducting routine workshops among team members were always satisfying moments to keep project intact towards hand over with limited hiccups and hassles.Even though after continuous PDAC's and following lessons leaned logs, many a times uncertainties (scope changes / contracts performance) caused prolongations. Followed by its various analytical / documentary TIA studies, resulting EOT claims and it's mixed Cost approvals were joyous.Its almost always an adventures journey on every project, every time with one aspect consistent - LEARNING GOES ON, BUT NEVER FAIL TO PLAN!!!
