PROJECT: Universal Routing Solution (URS)- Designed and developed JAX-WS web services, with advanced uses of Spring Framework (i.e. threads/executors, automatic task scheduling and lookup method injection). - Developed JMX MBeans, together with Java Attach API, to control and prioritize concurrently executing JVMs.- Developed a code emitter that used JAXB to convert XML instance documents into POJO.- Developed a general-purpose threading library (on top of standard Java concurrency classes) as a reusable and easy to use tool for multi-tasking.PROJECT: Decision Support System (DSS)- Designed and developed a modular, scalable and multi-threaded ETL framework.- Developed automated "data loaders" to read and process large volume (i.e. millions of records) Call Detail Records for generating various customer metrics reports.- Developed a highly configurable and modular library for parsing large CSV files.- Oracle performance tuning (e.g. query optimization, table partitioning, circumvent memory leaks in JDBC driver).PROJECT: Service Activation Manager (SAM)- Developed JAX-WS web services on Oracle WebLogic.- Co-authored WSDL files.- Implemented SOAP message-level security.- Executed system analysis and updates for preventing security attacks (e.g. injection attacks).- Developed a multi-threaded telnet protocol client.- Added support for direct, telnet based, communication with various network elements - developed in Python and Java. This includes connection pooling and shared resource management (i.e. telnet sessions).- Directly coordinated system testing and production roll-out with AT&T staff in US and India.PROJECT: SSIOTR- Led the design of enhancing SSIOTR to support pass-through provisioning.- Developed a CORBA server, allowing SSIOTR to accept orders from upstream systems.- Developed stateless session EJBs, for a Glassfish-based application that interfaced with SSIOTR.

- Direct liaison with external vendors (development & engineering) - responsible for planning, coordinating and supporting the roll-out of new software and hardware releases.- Tested, validated and documented all enhancements to the main TABS billing system.- Held meetings with department heads (e.g. Dev, Ops, CTO) to create and streamline business processes.- Directly responsible for all OAM functions of UAT and DEV environments.

- Implemented a protocol handler for sockets-based data transfers.- Implemented switch upload/download processors: to transfer a complete switch image to/from a local Oracle database and the remote switch. Heavy use of SQL, JDBC and Oracle stored procedures.- Developed a utility to dynamically, using Java reflection, encode/decode the data transferred to/from the remote switch, in a compact representation.
