Career Prep Program

Assist the Presidents in carrying out day to day activities including: Member engagement and program development, recruiting new members, developing leadership opportunities and nurturing future leaders within the university community

Connect with like-minded people of color to further continue our education, grow our network, and seek out internship opportunities

Lifeguarding for kids at summer camp, and indoor pool during the school year

Worked as a sales associate. I would present shoes to customers and answer any questions they have about our products. Make sure they are fully satisfied with their visit and help out fellow employees running shoes from storage. Once Shift is over make sure to count money make, make sure we have met daily earning targets and close up store.

Shadowed medical students at George Washington University. Had a end of internship project where I wrote about what I learned during my shadowing and how I can apply what I learned in the future.

Worked with teachers to solve issues happening in our community. Took a trek to Bogota and Medellin, Colombia to visit schools to see how the educational system in South America is similar and defers from the USA.
