I graduated from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology with a Bachelors of Science in Petroleum Engineering in 2014. During my educational career, I spent my summers working for Triad, Flint, and two summer internships with Energen Resources. After graduation, I went to work for Energen Resources. During my tenure there, I spent eleven months in the San Juan Basin managing production from all producing intervals, but mainly focusing on the Fruitland Coal. I also spent ten months completing wells in the Wolfcamp and Spraberry formations of the Midland Basin. Most of my time within these two years was spent in the field helping Well Site Supervisors and learning about all the equipment on location. However, when I was in the office, I was working on studies, such as a bacteria/biocide study, budget forecasting, hydraulic fracturing designs, procedures, and preparing regulatory documents. I have spent time in multiple roles while at Energen Resources. I can solve problems from both a completion and production point of view and understand the pros and cons and how the decisions made can affect each party.My experience at school and work has allowed me to develop many tools to complete my responsibilities in the petroleum industry.
