Archibald Analytics is a consulting practice established to provide business development services to a variety of SME clients in Atlantic Canada. With a focus on marketing, sales channel and brand development, we fill the gap that often exists with companies or development agencies that possess technically sound products or services but lack experience or capabilities to design and execute viable "Go to Market" strategies. Existing clients include an agri food development agency, a flexible packaging leader in Atlantic Canada, and several value added food companies bringing new products to market in Canada.

Managed the strategic direction of Lochiel for 12 years. Its main asset, St.Mary's River Smokehouses was the largest Atlantic salmon smoking operation in Canada focused on the supermarket segment. St. Mary's produced both innovative private label and own brand smoked salmon products for Canada's leading retailers. St. Mary's won the 2013 Best New Product Award - Retail at the Boston International Seafood Show. Negotiated the sale of the company to Cooke/True North Seafood in late 2017.

Responsible for building the first team of product managers charged with developing sales and marketing plans for each species category. Team was comprised of 13 individuals with backgrounds in planning, financial analysis, product development, communications and plant management. Directed product management activities and liaised with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization including the senior executive team, plant operations and sales.

Managed the largest sales region for the company - encompassing 4 sales offices, 25 sales people and over $125 million in sales.

Directed all company marketing functions, including advertising and trade relations, value - added product development, and non- traditional sales and distiribution channels

Managed a 50 member producer's organization which served the then young and emerging BC salmon aquaculture industry. Responsible for government and member relations, a large US generic marketing program, fund raising and delivery of technical support programs.
