Alan Hendrix has practiced law in small partnerships and office sharing arrangements since 1980. As a managing office partner he supervised and managed all aspects of a multiple attorney law office including supervision of personnel and training, management of equipment and supplies, facilitation of all accounting and tax filings and negotiation of leases. Alan Hendrix’s law practice includes cases involving litigation (personal injury, criminal defense, family law, civil/commercial/contractual, bankruptcy, and probate), drafting of estate documents, wills and trusts and business formation and consultation. Alan is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, Denver Bar Association and Colorado Trial Lawyers Association. He is AV rated by the Martindale-Hubbell Law Registry (highest rating) indicating “very high to preeminent legal ability and very high ethical standards”.As adjunct faculty to the Daniels College of Business-Department of Legal Studies from 1982-1996, he lectured on business law to M.B.A. candidates and undergraduates, including Executive, Weekend and Mountain M.B.A. programs. He taught courses in “Introduction to Legal Environment”, “Commercial Paper & Secured Transactions”, “Legal and Regulatory Environment of Business”; and “Values in Action I: Legal Constraints, Political Pressures and Ethical Choices of Managerial and Business Issues”. He received excellent student evaluations.From 1994-2001 as a founder, officer, director, shareholder and CEO of The Barrelhouse, Ltd. located in Lakewood, Colorado he operated a retail store. He implemented and maintained with his wife all aspects of a retail hobby shop of 6 employees including, management and training of personnel, developed marketing and customer relations, initial implementation of computer point of sale software package, set up of all inventory and accounting to interface with general ledger and facilitated all accounting and tax filings.
