I took sales calls, generated quotes, input purchase orders into our order system, followed up with customers about order information, purchased shipping department supplies, and handled freight logistics. My role emphasized efficiency, accuracy, good communication, and attention to detail. My goal as a sales representative was to make sure that every customer was thoroughly satisfied with their purchase and the purchasing process.

Ran the Shipping department, was responsible for packing all outgoing company shipments. Supervised incoming and outgoing freight shipments, and refurbished products to company standards. Helped in the purchasing of surplus stock from a variety of vendors, and was responsible for ensuring accurate records were kept, high quality communication was always implemented, and vendors were paid correctly and on time. As a store associate, I was responsible for taking and fulfilling customer selections, selling food and beverage accessories, decorating cakes to customer orders. Also was responsible for opening and closing the store, as my shift required, cashing in and out at the beginning and end of the day, and completing cash adjustments to the point of sale cash drawer.
