First Generation Scout Robot Build (pre-launch, 2018)- Assembly, bring-up and on-call support of the first 4 prototype robots used for autonomy, perception and navigation research.- Rapid prototyping to resolve issues around SSD accessibility, sensor placement and connectivity, and drivetrain failures.Data Collection Rig Hardware Engineering Lead- Designed, assembled and supported multiple IP54 rated "Sensor Pods" field deployed in multiple US cities.Gen 1.0 Scout Robot- Documentation and drawing reviews to support design engineering.- Design and implementation of EMI shielding components, updated SSD easy-access, cable routing features, additional ducting for thermal management.- Published and trained multiple Standard Operating Procedures for above-mentioned design updates.
