I have worked in secondary schools since 1999. I have taught small classes and supported students identified as having Special Educational Needs and students who are at risk of exclusion from mainstream education. This latter part of my experience has required me to work closely with families and in multi agency forums. I have leadership experience also.I recently graduated from the University of Sunderland with a 1st Class Bachelor's Degree in Education and Curriculum Studies. Moreover, my dissertation received the highest mark ever recorded on the programme. I achieved this whilst working full-time in a demanding role and with a young family to care for.
