Responsible for gathering any and all data required in preparing Design Build GPM, lump sum, unit rate and cost plus detailed estimates. Responsible for conceptual estimating, cost analysis, and estimate coordination. Duties include review of and development of discipline and multidiscipline material takeoffs, evaluation and development of construction labor rates and evaluation of subcontract cost estimates and proposals. Perform productivity analysis of cost estimates, prepare contingency and escalation for estimates; perform comparisons of scope, quantities and cost data between projects; prepare management presentations and develop an estimate basis. Work closely with designers and engineers to help define the design and specifications for cost effectiveness and suggestions for alternatives where applicable. Coordinate team activities, conduct project cost estimate review meetings, and interface with executive management. Extremely competent in performing all aspects of cost estimating, and does not require direct supervision. Skills include the ability to read, interpret and comprehend engineering specifications, and contracts. Projects range between $40mil to $400mil +.

Obligations included building relationships with new clients through out the southern United States, researching and developing possible job prospects, estimating, forecasting and construction, from the design stage through construction. Functions Included: Design/ build and construct only hard bid projets, developing scopes of work for subcontractors, developing bid packages and control of the pre construction and the construction process. Projects ranged between $100k to $20mil.

Accountable for estimating and managing hard bid projects, from the bid stage through final completion. Duties included contracting, organizing and scheduling subcontractors and field personnel for the projects on hand. The research, validation and pricing of all quantities, labor, equipment and materials needed for the day to day coordination. Stayed in close contact with the owners to insure customer satisfaction.

Daily operations included hiring and training assistant managers in the daily operations of high volume, quick serve restaurant. Required inventory control, scheduling, physical security, cash management, profit and loss accountability. Responsibilities also included: Assistant Market Finance Coordinator and Restaurant Audit Supervisor for 20 units. Managed between 25 to 60 employees..

Worked my way through college in many positions with ARA. when I graduated, I was offered position as Food Service Manager. As Food Service Manager I helped in the coordinated of the operations of several full service collage cafeterias through out the southern United States.The main focus was on inventory control, design of menus, the accountability of all profit and loss and the total satisfaction of all the students, college personnel and staff. Managed 40 to 60 employees.Served as much as 5000 + meals a day.
