I was Deputy Global Head of the XVA Trading Desk, prior to heading the Capital and Funding team in the Strategic Development Laboratory and most recently headed Optimisation for the Secured Funding Desk. Throughout my tenure at UBS, I have occupied roles within Product Control, Treasury and Global Markets. I have led, UBS’ requirements to Basel III, including the implementation of CVA VaR and Uncleared Margin Rules. As the head of the Capital and Funding within the Strategic Develop Laboratory, my team created optimisation algorithms for the minimisation of the capital footprint for both cash and derivative products. I have collaborated with the broader collateral and optimisation ecosystem, working with vendors to integrate UBS to their processes and services. I worked closely with FinTech’s including messaging and compression providers to help develop solutions to improve capital and collateral efficiency. I also led several roadshows for clients globally educating them on the impact of regulation help them navigate their liquidity needs through the changing regulatory environment.I was part of the Strategic Development Laboratory and Group Asset Liability Management leadership team. I have also served on ISDA Risk Committees and on the boards of OTCDerivNet, FX Global Clear and Acadiasoft (Resigned 2020).
