Troubleshooting is the main function as an automation technician. Solving problems and creating solutions in a timely manner to maximize production and machine up time is of the utmost importance. Creating, Maintaining and practicing skills included and not limited to PLC logics, electronic circuits and drawings are necessary. Maintaining a professional attitude under pressure and working with departments like Engineering and Maintenance is needed to maintain professional working relationships all to drive today's world of automation and controls.

In coilwinding and machine operation it is important to properly operate a winding machine to create a quality product on time. Measuring, aligning and accomodating materials to the machine are all important while maintaing safe working habits through out the floor. Welding and brazing are common operations through out the creation of coils. Recording proper coil numbers, revisions, diagrams and other paper work is all important through out and after the manufacturing process is finished.

Cell lead operations are important to leading the regulator cell to a successful and safe day. Holding a tier 1 meeting to start of the day giving the regulator team necessary safety, quality and machine information is important. Answering questions at the meeting and through out the day while maintaining safe work habits as examples are as well. Supporting the team during the workday with machine operation, winding, continuous improvement and more are imperative in this position.
