What a blessing to have rejoined this great organization! In my second phase with Walmart, I worked alongside great leaders and teammates in our shared services organization for 8 years. The best part of this role has been the education in selfless leadership. At Walmart I worked as an accountant for the United States' largest private real-estate company (obviously we also sold things but I was dedicated to the Real Estate business).My primary responsibilities were for recording journal entries, reconciling accounts, and issuing reports related to real estate operations. I was blessed to be able to write a few rudimentary policies on fixed assets. I'm excited that portions of those policies are still in use today!

An incredibly fun position with a great company! Starting out at American Freightways and continuing after the acquisition by FedEx, I learned to be part of a team and saw how the LTL network operated. My primary responsibility was safe freight handling but I was also able to build loads and reduce the number of touches required.
