Test Lead for China implementation of Medical & Non-Medical insurance application and implementation of new financial billing system. Role leading the Test Centre project from review of business and functional specifications through to authoring of test plan, test scripts, managing test resources and test execution. Daily tasks included hosting SIT team meetings, reporting of defect status and SIT progress to plan, liaising with the development team to prioritise defect fixes and release management. During UAT phase tasks also included review of test plans and scripts, implementing a UAT defect process, hosting daily calls with China SMEs, triage of UAT defects and reporting of defect status and UAT progress to plan to project stakeholders.

Primary role involved engaging with the Home Office SMEs to understand functional requirements, creating high level designs, technical specifications and subsequent test scenarios and executing test scenarios in the link test team ensuring seamless integration between Siebel and the other system components

Key responsibilities included SFA Lead including overseeing the various SDLC stages through requirements gathering, development, system Test to UAT. Overseeing the Business requirement gathering phases and responsible for validating Functional and Technical Design and subsequently the validation of the Siebel Configuration. Responsible for the testing of the interface/data mappings between the SFA system and 3rd party Pharma Industry data providers (Cegedim One Key and Binleys UK).

Project responsibilities include development, handover and release management, and interfaces using EAI workflow and web services, development of ASP pages for bespoke login pages as well as general configuration, escript, support, testing and release of the application. Latterly team lead with responsibility for development, upgrade, test, release and managed handover of project to new support company. The application allowed AstraZeneca and third party agencies to establish and manage relationships with Global Key Opinion Leaders on drug products throughout the world.

Project responsibilities included the development and testing of Siebel e-Advisor html pages. These pages are the input media for the targeting of benefit fraud via the public facing internet site and the department’s intranet. Also worked latterly as part of the Design Team with daily tasks of managing Siebel System and e-Advisor HTML design issues, updates and client requirements. This involves liaison with build team, design team, test team and the business.

A global sales force automation project for one of the world’s biggest companies. A Siebel 7.5.2 project the aim was to provide the sales force with a global best practice remote application. Engaging with SME’s to understand market specific challenges we were able to provide a scalable and maintainable scripting and configuration architecture for multi-language rollout in Italy, Australia and Japan for over 1800 users. Exposure and use of the following skill sets, Assignment Manager, Siebel GUI build, State Model, Siebel Applet & general configuration, writing and execution of test scripts, Testing of Siebel functionality, daily defect/CR management conference call with Japanese and Italian business users, rollout planning and resource management and writing and executing SQL scripts SQL plus/TOAD .

Internal sales force project for this large consultancy for rollout throughout the world. I was responsible for the analysis, development & unit testing of the complex forecasting module. Involved reviewing the needs of the world regions and building a generic fit all configuration and code base that will support both Siebel 2000 thick client and the Active X thin client.

Call centre project for a telecom’s company in Denmark. Siebel 2000 thick client/eChannel to store details surrounding the ordering and installation of Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) via their 200 seat call centre. Responsibilities included Siebel and Webmethods development/integration for interfacing to coverage and credit checking databases. Developer for eChannel web pages used by the subcontractors to carry out the necessary installation procedure as well as general Siebel configuration work and performance tuning. I was also Technical resource in client BA meetings.
