As director of real estate I was responsible for the company's 17 million sqaure feet of real estate that included retail stores, warehouses, client leases and office buildings. Also, was charged with the expansion of the company's retail stores and the role out of two new concept stores; Avanza, a super market targeting the Hispanic Market and Buy N Save a deep discount market.*Opened six new concept stores in Denver and Chicago*Participated in market research for all new markets*Site selection of new loactions for the companies traditional grocery stores; EconoFoods and SunMart.*Worked closely with the development and construction department.*Prepared real estate packages and presented opportunities to the CEO.
