Air Vehicle Lead, F-35 Depot Activation
Current• Leads efforts to establish domestic and international air vehicle depot capabilities for the F-35 Program. Instrumental in shaping requirements, maturing operational concepts and business capture for US and International depot capabilities. Drives activation tempo with stakeholders. Liaises with both internal and External Customer Teams, Program Management, Subcontract Management, Business Development and senior leadership, ensuring situational awareness and cost/schedule goals are met. Efforts resulting in the establishment of the F-35 air vehicle depot capabilities meeting both program and sovereign nation imperatives for providing required capability on schedule. • Establish vital relationships between US Government, Regional Defence agencies, regional industries and Lockheed Martin resulting in cohesive stakeholder wide planning and execution teams.• Ensures creation of Technical Assistance Agreements and Import/Export licensing documentation for coordination with the US Departments of Defense, State and Commerce as well as with similar foreign governmental agencies. Provide expert counsel to customers on setting realistic objectives and requirements. Aid with development of supplier’s quality plans and air worthiness approach. Efforts ensure awareness of risks and opportunities involved in air vehicle depot activation and operation.• Key participate in business capture and contract negotiations with Partners/FMS customers, venders and US Government. Participate in proposal development and reviews. Aids and ensures all parties to develop and understand technical requirements, risks and opportunities. Perform technical evaluations of vendor proposals and refine requirements to successfully reduce cost by finding efficiencies and redundancies.• Talent development. Trains and enables teammates to perform highly specialized tasks.
