In 2016, after 16 enjoyable years in the civil service in London, I began a new career working in health. 5.5 years on, and having honed my knowledge and built expertise in this area, I am pleased to announce that from April 2023 I will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer of Healthwatch Brighton and Hove. I am very excited by the prospect of leading this locally and nationally recognised organisation, supported by a talented and dynamic staff, Board and volunteer team.I'll be bringing to the role my portfolio of experience encapsulating project management, campaign development, clinical practice, volunteer coordination, leadership and stakeholder engagement. My previous experience has furnished me with a range of valuable skills that will support me in this new role. I have a strong legal background and am credited with superior communication, negotiation skills, staff management, volunteering experience, as well as government, and international work.
