Responsible for marketing the Hotspex brand and their leading product sub-brands my responsibility also included internal brand building, staff moral, team spirit and productivity, and the cultivation of a strong and proud corporate culture. Though this internal communication and motivation program I was very involved in HR and in December 2010 took the role of HR Director, becoming responsible for all strategic and tactical aspects of HR, tasked with improving staff morale and reducing staff turn-over, which I successfully achieved.

Managed the agency being responsible for the growth and success of the business during a critical transition phase as the company established itself as a contender in the local advertising industry. Account managed the agency's largest client, Bank Windhoek, and won the pitch for the country's second cellular operator.

Responsible for the establishment of the business and the successful amalgamation of the previous ad agency and PR company that had been bought by FCB to form the new operation. Also provided senior account management on both the Vodacom and Tanzania Breweries Limited (SABMIller) accounts that made up for the majority of our turn-over.

Responsible for the rebranding and repositioning of the largest local bank in Namibia, which was extremely successful and included both internal brand building and external brand projection. In addition to which I provided brand strategy consultancy services to various other companies within the CIH group and was very involved in the holding company's banking license application in Botswana.

Managed Diageo's Guinness account across Africa and the Caribbean, with a prime focus on the Michael Power campaign that involved extensive TV and film work designed to work in multiple languages and cultures. During the time I was working on the Diageo account we made Africa the biggest market in the world for Guinness.

Responsible for the senior account management of NetEase which was the largest internet portal in China - during the time of the dotcom crash. Also responsible for the account management of the Johnson & Johnson account.

Responsible for the success and growth of the business from a small operation to the largest ad agency in the country whose clients included Orange, Standard Chartered Bank, SABMiller, Debswana (De Beers), Botswana Development Corporation (and the IFSC) and many others. During this time the agency became the most award-winning creative agency in the Saatchi & Saatchi Africa network.
