Worked as as a Project Lead for Agile Solutions at BSkyB in Livingston to re-design a Customer Data Warehouse. Responsible for the design of the new dimensional data warehouse and managing a blended team of developers, testers and analysts. The goal was to deliver an end-to-end ELT solution to populate large volumes of CRM and telephony data into a target Netezza warehouse to support both ad-hoc and scheduled reporting.

Worked as an ETL consultant for the Reference Data Team and was responsible for Informatica PowerCenter design and development of solutions to provide strategic feeds of common reference data for internal clients. Responsible for the design of a new ETL architecture and migrating the existing codeset from Informatica PowerCenter 8.6.1 to 9.1.Also delivered PowerCenter training courses within the bank and developed code for a front end GWT Web Application utilising Java, Spring and Hibernate. Employed as a Consultant with Agile Solutions. Worked with many clients including Business Stream (Scottish Water) and the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS). Consultancy work included a large Informatica project utilisng Scrum within RBS to replace a legacy general ledger system with an Oracle GL. Developed a host of complex mappings drawing data from the mainframe system, implementing an array of accounting processes and loading the data into an operational data store and seperate reporting schema. This project utilised continuous integration testing, test driven development and automated deployments in true agile fashion. Also responsible for a large offshore team of developers and built the online data maintenance system using ASP.Net and C#.
