Managing Counsel Ii -- Commercial Litigation
CurrentManage team of attorneys and legal professionals overseeing large commercial litigation portfolio with a multi-million-dollar litigation budget. Engage in legal risk mitigation and provide strategic direction on litigation/claims, finances, eDiscovery, and law firm/vendor performance. Provide business advice on litigation risk and data/trend analysis. Expertise in Leadership, Litigation Matter Management, Financial Management, Risk Management, Project Management, Legal Technology, Business Advice, and Talent Development Act with servant leadership, exceptional interpersonal skills, and honed emotional intelligence in leading team of attorneys and professional staff responsible for commercial litigation portfolio. Provide strategic litigation guidance, performance feedback, and litigation-related business advice in a variety of complex commercial, employment, intellectual property, and class action matters.Maintain fiscal year litigation budgets to support outstanding and anticipated litigated matters. Advise leadership in advising corporate governance organization on legal disclosures and accruals.Give mitigation options on existing and emerging risks, as well as strategic business advice to team members and business partners.Proactively meet with legal and business executives, as well as subject matter experts, to develop strategic business advice and preventative legal strategies.Ideate, plan, and lead strategic projects for the litigation team that include data/trend analysis, strategic business advice, change management, and process improvements.
