Facilitated the vendor selection process, contract negotiations and start-up of each site. • Engineering Consultant for P&G’s Paper Category - Using forecast data, performed feasibility studies on the installation of Automatic Truck Loading Systems (ATLS) for 5 P&G paper plants. Developed performance specifications and RFP bid packages for ATLS systems at 2 of the 5 plants. Negotiated the purchase of customized ATLS-Ready trailers ($127k ea.) for shuttle use between the plant and external warehouses. • Logistics Consultant for P&G’s study of distribution operations in New Orleans, LA. Consolidated all internal and external warehouses to one low-cost facility. Developed RFP’s for the contract operation of the off-site warehouse and its corresponding shuttle and drop lot operations. • Established the site location, orientation and layout of P&G’s new tissue and towel plant in Cape Girardeau, MO.
