This position allowed me to oversee major manufacturing services at a professional level. I was responsible for the Manufacturing Engineering Department of a Tier 1 Automotive supplier manufacturing drive shafts at a £90 million turnover facility with 900 employees, where I reported directly to the Managing Director. I developed exceptional skills in managing ACESL to build high-quality services in DC installs and DC consultancy.My main duties and responsibilities included…- Overseeing product launches- New product introductions- Implementing capital spend- Chairing site-wide project master schedule- Chairing site safety committeeMy responsibilities consisted of overseeing product launches and Prototype Department Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance and Toolroom for two sites. I was also responsible for new product Introductions, including major launch activities with Toyota/BMW/Landrover.
