Professional Law Enforcement Training offers a wide range of courses to correspond with the various types of assignments police officers, Juvenile Detention in addition to self awareness training, and De-escalation training.  Each training class has been strategically designed to provide the most up to date information relating to the course topics.

National Master Instructor - Develop training curriculums and standardizations that integrate into existing programs of federal, state, and local government agencies. - Train all levels of law enforcement, adult corrections, juvenile justice, security, and military (Department of Defense) in arrest control, defensive tactics, and close range subject control in a program called Mechanical Advantage Control Holds (M.A.C.H.). - Contribute to the development of doctrine surrounding force tactics, ranging from the use of deadly force to using force to maintain control of any environment.

Consultant   - Utilized applied behavior analysis to design presentations for local law enforcement agencies, primary and secondary public schools, health intuitions, and other juvenile reform entities.- Created and presented agency wide presentations about: Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT), De-escalation, Juvenile Rights, Mechanical Restraints, Safety and Security, Searches I and II.- Produced quarterly "Best Practices" reports depicting the effectiveness of proposed strategies and interventions; these reports are distributed throughout the department and to partner agencies.Instructor and Supervisor - Developed lesson plans for Cook County Juvenile Detention Center (JTDC) caseworkers, recreation and supervisory staff.- Supervised and collaborated with a multidisciplinary team of 13 staff members to develop curriculum for juvenile residents.- Envisioned programming to help residents navigate daily social and emotional tasks; programming includes a youth mentoring program.  - Presented information to trainees about institutional processes in JTDC.- Facilitated Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), First-Aid delivery, and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training for all JTDC employees and volunteers.- Assisted the Mental Health department at JTDC in screening residents for emotional, behavioral and developmental disabilities and refer them to the MH department.
