I am an investigator responsible for understanding, interpreting and applying food and drug law and FDA policy in order to promote public health and ensure compliance of regulated industry. The below information summarizes my roles and experiences while with the FDA.• Organizing and conducting both solo and team high-risk inspections and investigations including those which have resulted in recalls, products destruction and inspectional warrants alongside federal and state law enforcement often including collaboration with state health agency counterparts• Investigating complaints of injury, illness, or death caused by an FDA-regulated product and assessing any continued public health risk both at local level and through multi-state outbreak SAHCODHA events• Initiating actions against violative firms and/or adulterated products• Advising industry, state, local officials and consumers on enforcement policies, methods, and interpretation of regulations• Former Acting State Liaison (90-day detail May-July 2020) for PA and DE functioning as a link between federal and state regulatory partners while monitoring and implementing state contract obligations• Workload planning and assignment generation per agency requirements• Participation in multi-agency meetings and inspection/investigation specific planning sessions • Developing and implementing inspection procedures, techniques, training and assignment tracking tools
