This consultancy roles sees me assist various vendors of the Bruneian Oil and Gas Industry in aligning their operational activities with those set out by the Bruneian Government's Department of Energy.These objectives focus on the following;- Assisting vendors (primarily comprising of Small to Medium Enterprises) in nationalising their labour force whilst developing local business capability and capacity.- Prioritisation on the use of local goods and services – this is implemented via the Local Business Development (LBD) Framework which includes targets for employment of locals and amount of local content.- Creating the appropriate reporting frameworks to illustrate potential impact of the project / contract / agreement on LBD including the identification of opportunities for increasing local content and local employment. This reporting plays an element in all major projects / contracts / agreements e.g. significant projects or contracts to be undertaken by Operators, or significant investments e.g. purchase of assets, construction of new facilities.Key skills displayed as part of carrying out these objectives include;- Stake holder management- Project planning- Change management- Cultural awareness- People management
