I have nine years of experience in public sector town planning across the UK and Ireland, mainly within London. As a deputy team leader, I sign off delegated planning decisions, allocate cases, manage staff, and maintain a caseload of 'major' applications.As a planning case officer, I have taken many 'major' applications from early pre-application to planning committee presentation and determination. Three notable applications include a 21,000 sq.m. mixed-use high street proposal comprising of commercial space, 162-key hotel, and 320 co-living units; a 21,000 sq.m. scheme comprising 116 homes over a school; and a 149-home SINC development. I also have experience assessing 'major' Green Belt, MOL, Listed Building, Playing Field, and Flood Zone applications.Outside of town planning, I have gained extensive logistics, project management, and people management experience by creating and managing charity fundraising events. I sourced, coordinated, and led over fifty volunteers to fundraise more than €45,000 for cancer and stroke charities and a football facility. I have bolstered this practical experience with formal qualifications in business administration, project management, and management and leadership. I have operated two successful crowdfunding campaigns and wrote, produced, and published two critically acclaimed books. The Irish Independent, Irish Times, and Belfast Telegraph have endorsed my writing.I directed an award-winning documentary and negotiated licensing deals with Aer Lingus and RTÉ to air my film on national television and international flights.
