Recently started as Software Tester with SurgEase Innovations.I have 18 years experience in the IT industry as a Network Manager, Small Business owner, 1st and now 2nd Line IT support Analyst. I have worked in some very diverse environments - supporting teachers and students in a school for 8 years, interacting with a host of home and business customers and now working in a mixed Warehouse and Office environment.My skills include Windows Server installations, anything from 2000 Advanced Server to Server 2016 Standard. I have extensive experience with Windows operating systems - from XP, Vista, Windows 7, 8.1 10 Pro and now Windows 10 Enterprise. My main strengths lie with operating system deployment, beginning with Remote Installation Services, Windows Deploymet Services and now SCCM. I also have made extensive use of Group Policy to lock down a Secondary school environment, a major UK charity and now on Boohoo's domain infrastructure.One of my biggest acheivements is the fact that Boohoo's 58 Million Automation WMS investment is largely running on 300 or so PCs that I designed the W10 OS/software image for and the deployment servers that were used to deploy to them. I was told that from the IT departments perspective, 'we couldnt have done it without you!'My interests have always centered around computer hardware and software - I have legacy skills relating to CP/M, MS-DOS and the early Windows OS's (W95/98/2000) I have been building PC hardware that dates from the late 1970's all the way to modern hardware, In short, my skills and experience are quite mature and extensive although my preferences lean towards Windows Deployment.
