I have worked for Nando's for the past 5 years and during this time I have worked as a Nandoca (floor and kitchen staff), Supervisor and lastly a 2nd Assistant Manager and lastly a 1st Assistant Manager which essentially is a general manager in training. In this role my responsabilities include:• Managing a team of 40 staff, both front and back of house• Assisting in the recruitment and training of new staff as well as the development of existing staff by having inductions, conducting regular reviews, establishing training plans and delivering regular constructive feedback• Scheduling staff and completing the staff rota, ensuring each shift is covered with the necessary amount of staff• Placing orders and ensuring the stock control is being maintained• Maintaining everyday operational procedures such as EHO regulations, health and safety and food safety standards• Maintaining a level of standard and quality in the restaurant in all aspects• I have been fully involved in the setting up and opening of a new restaurant including recruitment, handovers, set-up, training, and marketing.
