* Managed multiple simultaneous government and continuous improvement commercial projects. Projects encompassed working with Business Development, Sales, and Customer, reviewing SOW’s, preparing quotes, design, prototyping, manufacture, test, and delivery of patient handling systems and equipment for military and commercial aircraft and wheeled vehicles. * Managed an Engineering team of Design Engineers, Draftsmen, and a Checker to accomplish schedule and budget goals for design projects. * Managed project to evaluate structural potted inserts used in commercial aircraft (Bell, Eurocopter, etc.). Project consisted of evaluating all aircraft modified with potted inserts, defining the configuration (substructure and insert used), manufacture of test panels and coupons. Coordinated efforts with test facilities, to validate test equipment and to determine allowable stress for each application. Worked with ODA for FAA conformance of STC projects.

* Managed projects associated to the Design, Manufacture, and Procurement of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) for the Kinetic Energy Interceptor (KEI) Missile.* Coordinated efforts between Design Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Purchasing, Planning, Analysis, and Launch Site personnel to insure GSE was available for the Pathfinder operations as well as the launch.* Created and published Technical Manuals, Work Packages, and Analysis documentation to support the validity, procurement, and installation of the GSE.* Coordinated efforts of Suppliers regarding manufacture of GSE under my supervision.

-Coordinated projects related to transitioning aircraft parts from Phoenix facility to a new facility in Chihuahua, Mexico.-Conducted technical interchange meetings between Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality, Design, and Materials groups to ensure technical and schedule requirements were met for the transition of parts to the Chihuahua facility.

-Supervised projects related to the design and manufacture of Vehicle Armor Products.-Worked closely with customers regarding product specifications and requirements-Researched market and made recommendations for obtaining contracts related to Vehicle Armor Products.-Coordinated efforts of Suppliers and Supply Chain Management to insure adequate supply of materials to insure production schedules were met.-Managed new products through concept, design, prototyping, test and review and approval process of the design details for release to production

-Assimilated data from customer’s Request For Proposal, Performance Requirements and interfaced with customer’s lead engineers to create technical estimates including labor, material, and overhead costs to satisfy the Statement of Work for the project.-Developed schedules & budgets based on tasks required to accomplish design objectives.-Supervised and aided four Design Engineers and three Designers to insure that appropriate engineering methods were incorporated to satisfy schedule milestones and budgets.-Coordinated efforts of Design Engineers, Contract and Subcontract Administrator, Purchasing, Test Engineers, Manufacturing personnel, Configuration Management personnel, Accounting personnel, and Sub Contractors insuring program budget and milestones were met.
