Distribution Center materials management for North American wind energy projects. Support all aspects of QA/QC, HSE, storage and logistics for wind turbine components. Perform offload/discharge surveys and ongoing audits for all rail/truck/marine cargo delivered to the local DC railheads and/or port terminals. Supervise the subsequent load-out of equipment for final delivery to the associated project sites. Act as primary POC and client liaison regarding all DC/Port activities throughout project construction phases. Project clients: Siemens Gamesa, Vestas, Nordex Acciona, GE

Supervise onsite heavy haul operations of major wind projects in South Texas and Oklahoma. Coordinate with heavy haul carriers to provide safe and timely delivery of wind turbine components from port and rail siding storage to pad sites. Conduct daily safety meetings (tool box talks) with heavy haul/ heavy lift personnel each morning . Maintain an open channel of communication with client and onsite managers. Participate in daily work flow conference meetings on behalf of Geodis.

SPECIALIZED POWER LOGISTICSProject Manager 2015-12/29/16 Manage all aspects of OOG/OD and Overweight project cargo from vessel discharge to offload at job site, throughout the US and Canada.o Business development; research feasibility (route study, rail clearances, etc.), send out RFQs, bid project, negotiate with vendors to stay on budget and/or improve profit margin, compose and submit mission statement and transportation plans to client, maintain lines of communication with clients and vendors to project completion. o Track import project cargo through steamline vessel, coordinate with port capt and stevedores for discharge direct to rail car or heavy haul, hire barge crane (if needed). Supervise cargo placement for rail clearance or transport tie down specs, coordinate with marine surveyors.o Coordinate welders, riggers/cranes/heavy haul (including tie down drawings and permits) for offload from rail car siding to transporter or direct discharge at port terminal for transport and offload at job site.o Coordinate delivery of parts and accessories from port to job site via ground transport. o Bill out project upon completion.• Developed emergency logistics program for Texas New Mexico Power - Transformer Spares Emergency Response Plan. This program conformed to the national transformer spares consortium requirements to load and mobilize TNMP spares from any of 10 different substations across Texas, by heavy lift, heavy haul and rail, to designated offload points across the continental US.

MWCC Shore Base Operations: led, set up, and supervised daily warehouse operations of MWCC’s Interim Containment System equipment (ASCO Shore Base in Greensport, Houston, TX)Coordinated all major mobilization efforts for MWCC/MWCS from 2011 to 2015, totaling over 1.5 million Tons of cargo; Awarded letter of recognition by MWCC CEO, Marty Massey, for superior deployment and logistics coordination for live, offshore demonstration of subsea well containment equip, regulated by BSEEManaged logistics and procurement activities for planned Incident Command System drills and all dynamic and static functional tests and inspections as required by regulatory agencies and MWCC’s member companies. Served on MWCC Logistics Team as transportation advisor and inventory associate during multiple ICS drills and SURF/MCV Shore Base activitiesBP-CRS Shore Base Operations: developed warehouse layout and supervised daily warehouse operations of BP’s global Containment Response System equipment (ASCO Shore Base in Greensport, Houston, TX) Served on BP-CRS Emergency Response Team as Logistics Specialist for ICS drills and exercises BP Deepwater Horizon Incident: served on Houston Crisis Center Logistics Team as fixed wing air charter coordinator for BP executives and essential response personnel; served as critical cargo specialist on logistics and decommission teams at BP’s Westlake Crisis Center in Houston, TX; Received personal commendation from USCG Rear Admiral James Watson, Head of BSEE, for outstanding efforts in logistics support role during the emergency response BP Macondo Demobilization Project: facilitated ship-to-shore and over-the-round deliveries, storage, preservation, refurbishing, and BP/MWCC handover of decommissioned equipment (MWCC Interim Containment System) Led materials management and short/long term preservation coordination Procured supplies and materials and scheduled third-party contractors for refurb and maintenance activities at ASCO.
