Reporting Proposals• Responsible to design reporting that is intended to incent, measure, and drive particular business objectives.• Refine design proposals in collaboration with various stakeholders in other P&C Headquarters teams. Reporting• Act as subject matter expert (SME) for reporting and analytics on one or more of BMO’s Commercial Segment sales force, channels, product lines, or customer segments by becoming intimately familiar with: • Advanced understanding of data in BMO’s various data warehouses specifically from a business banking perspective• Advanced understanding of Salesforce and/or product business information – including processes, pricing, product offerings, etc.• BMO Policies and Procedures (P&P)• Use specialized query / database tools – e.g. SAS, SQL, Mainframe, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) to deliver ad-hoc analytics, as well as regular reporting from Commercial Databases– e.g. Commercial Portfolio Reporting, Pricing Reporting, Monthly Results Reporting, Performance Tracker, Initiatives Tracker, etc.• Design, develop and implement more efficient production and ad-hoc reporting processes to maximize the effectiveness of the report production function for ongoing operational reporting needs.• Design and improve production and ad-hoc reporting processes.• Work proactively and collaboratively with key clients and stakeholders to continuously enhance reporting:• LOB, Risk, Treasury, Finance, Sales Channels, T&O, RBPTO.Management.Effectively manage a team of report analysts that carry out the day to day requirements of business banking analytics

• Maintain system options/workflow set up/front end system configuration parameters• Support design of new/changed products and provide input into overall business impact assessment. Act as an interface with LineData and T&O to complete and test approved changes • Ensure funding is in place for all Business Impact Assessments• Educate business representatives on Commercial Connect functionalities and provide recommendations regarding components to leverage for new product development• Provide input to Commercial Connect Oversight Committee for the prioritization of changes• Accountable for evaluating change requests/impacts, ensuring the required LineData forms are complete and initiating the work with Line Data following the Change Management process. • Ensure conformity with LineData mandated policies and procedures, request all change requests and ensure LineData completes the work as requested• Facilitate setup and maintenance of production user IDs for all system users• Provide oversight for configuration/re-configuration of business accounts for UAT region use• Oversee the User Acceptance Testing for all configuration changes and regression testing when no code changes have been made• Work with the UAT Manager to confirm testing is complete for work received from LineData, provide and obtain final approvals before product can be deployed in production in consultation with Risk, Fraud and P&C Product. • Provide support for resolution of LineData related incidents and problems • Provide technical coaching to team members on LineData/T&O processes in order to improve their LineData/T&O knowledge and skills• Develop effective business relationships with the P&C group and the T&O group as well as with Risk, Fraud and LineData in order to stay abreast of strategies• Schedule appropriate reporting mechanisms with key stakeholders to ensure optimal resolution of issues• Participate in LineData user forums/training updates, as required

• Analyze requirements documentation and work with internal colleagues and external clients to clearly understand client requirements and identify potential issues upfront • Build and maintain system configuration, data interfaces, data extracts and reports according to requirements documents • Test and analyze data, identify data issues and coordinate data cleanup activities • Prepare test plans and perform unit testing• Transition new data processes to the ongoing data management team• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated production issues• Monitor project schedules to ensure timelines and deliverables are met and report status of assigned work to the Project Manager• Adopt Morneau Shepell best practice processes and methods

Extensive use of Mercer’s Health, Benefits & Pension systems to produce information for clients and to provide assistance to administrationAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Access (with VBA) and SQL scripting developing a number of tools used. Intermediate to advance knowledge of report writing and extensive use of Microsoft Excel, Access and some use of Crystal reporting and Oracle Some experience with Informatica implementation Excellent verbal and written communication skillsComprehensive training provided to outsourced team from India on a regular basis to facilitate with their understanding of the business and also to assist with their confidence to take their own initiative to perform data management procedures with minimal assistance.Involved in implementation projects of new clients won from successful bids by the company.Provide support to resolve issues logged as incidents or requests for change on existing practices and procedures. In the process of creating a tool that will be used to coordinate this process better.Upkeep of good documentation of data management procedures for transitioning purposes or in case of absence of existing operations team member responsible for the day-in-day-out processing.
