Truck driver with over 40 years experience of driving the roads of Great Britain, most of the time with hazardous “ADR” cargo, self funded C + E (HGV class 1) licence in 1984 and made a career of it. Have driven articulated vehicles, "wagon and drags", flat beds, curtain siders, fridges and cement mixers; (the mixers were good fun!) Have carried flammable and corrosive liquids and carcinogens. I self funded my Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) (Management), in National Road Haulage Operations in 2003.I am howerever, concerned abouut the state of the world and the environment. climate change must be recognised. Outside of work, you'll find me researching family history, allotmenting and attempting to make country wines. Married to the wonderful Sara.
