Alan is an avid soccer fan, a former competitive soccer player and cyclist and a two-time finisher of Ironman distance triathlons. As recent as 2023, he had the opportunity to summit Mt Kilimanjaro, in Tanzania (Africa’s highest point at 19,341 ft).
