I have been working in Heavy Highway construction for 5+ years, during which time I have had the opportunity to contribute to the successful completion of over 20 bridges and road spread across 9 separate projects. My responsibilities have included managing personnel, budgets, schedules, and resources, managing contracts and coordinating subcontractors, managing and directing field work, planning and estimating work, relationship management, conflict resolution, administration, and others.Prior to construction I was privileged to serve in the U.S. Army for 8 years with 2 tours to Afghanistan. Depending on the position, my responsibilities ranged from leading troops, to mid-range planning, to training U.S. and foreign military personnel.Currently I work for Archer-United JV where I have managed a significant portion of the grading and drainage work conducted by subcontractors and worked on the structures team, consisting of 8 field crews, engineers, and management, in constructing the bridges, walls, and other structures on one of the largest highway projects in South Carolina's history.My strengths include planning and coordination, problem solving, resource management, and conflict resolution.
