I joined Apple’s Supplier Responsibility group as the Supplier Energy Efficiency Program (EEP) manager. Over the past years, I developed EEP from ground zero and led implementation of key strategies. EEP achieved more than 900,000 metric tons of annual carbon reduction from energy efficiency projects as of Apple’s fiscal year 2020.I also authored a section of the Apple Supplier Code of Conduct that requires Apple suppliers to report greenhouse gas emission annually. To support supplier GHG reporting, I developed a GHG emission estimation and reporting tool which enabled standardized reporting across the entire supply chain. Since 2018, I led an initiative to mitigate fluorinated greenhouse gas (F-GHG) emissions from Apple’s supply chain. The initiative resulted in more than 2.3 millions tons of annual carbon reduction as of Apple’s fiscal year 2020.

As a Director in Nexant's Utility Services business unit, I was responsible for business development for Nexant's energy efficiency delivery services in California and Hawaii, which included support of clients’ performance-based energy savings programs. My areas of technical expertise included analysis of energy consumption for HVAC systems and industrial processes, as well as whole buildings; DSM program design and engineering; measurement and verification of energy savings; and the design and review of power quality mitigation technologies. Key achievements included development of the Refinery Energy Efficiency Programs; the Industrial Recommissioning Program, the Chemical Product Efficiency Program, the technology Enhanced Retrocommissioning Programs, and a tribal casino energy efficiency program, with total program budget exceeding $40M.
