A career that started by designing sustainable drainage systems in the early days of SuDS growth, moving on to specialising in infrastructure design and overseeing a team of engineers working on large scale projects.On my way from the drawing office to becoming a Technical Director of a long established civil engineering consultancy I have designed detailed civils packages for commercial and residential schemes of all scales, from single plot planning applications to the detailed design and adoption of 300+ plot residential sites across the country and overseas. Residential schemes have included the section 278 and 38 highway works, large scale SuDS design and section 104 adoption packages.Commercial developments have ranged from supermarket chains and car dealerships to caravan parks and grand designs featured property.Time spent on-site overseeing the construction of these schemes also gives me an appreciation of these sites in their built form.Now running Dixon Civils, I aim to bring these skills and the hands on personal touch that I very much enjoy to our clients.www.dixoncivils.com
