Alan is an award winning filmmaker and has produced, directed, and edited narrative and documentary films that have shown on such outlets such as Hulu, Colorado Public Television, PBS and Latino Rebels. He recently co-directed a short documentary for PBS' American Masters "In the Making" series. He films have tackled subjects such as hate crimes, police corruption, wrongful incarceration, immigration issues and sports in the Southwest and the US-Mexico borderlands.He has also worked with non-profits, tech start-ups, educational institutions, and political candidates for a variety of branding concepts through video.Alan is also a seasoned educator working with students from middle school through the college ranks. He has also done youth film seminars in conjunction with the Denver Film Society.
