This role is to support the day to day business applications of a small/medium insurance company and the many applications and/or IT infrastructure that had been built up over time. Systems include PHP/MySQL (in-house and external), DB2 SQL and MS SQL/access and MySQL databases and some windows data gathering systems (C#.NET and VB6) with occasional project work eg re-branding PHP web sites & documentation for same. Towards the end of my tenure I was responsible for a major data migration (14M policies with claims, associated data and documents). This was done using MySQL database and C# to create output for the target system.
