Directly responsible for a staff team of around fifty, the role also included regular duty management of the entire hotel.

As a member of the pre-opening management team I worked with colleagues to set systems in place, develop the staff team and ensure deadlines and safety measures were met. I was also part of a small working group behind the hotel’s successful bid for the Green Tourism in Business Scheme ‘Gold Award’ for excellence in environmentally sustainable practice and community engagement.
