About Alan Elder
I love science—all aspects of it. I am primarily interested in medical research, but not limited to, immunology, oncology, and novel drug development. I have a very research-focused master’s degree in microbiology where I primarily worked on the detection of prions in the blood of infected animals. Since obtaining my degree, I have been working at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus where I have been researching breast cancer and how lymph node metastases occur. I have extensive knowledge and experience with tissue culture, animal work, and biochemical assays. I would like to find a position that allows me to continue research in a human medicine-related field.
Listed skills include Microbiology, Cancer Biology, Cell Culture, Immunology, and 25 others.
