Worked as part of a small team and used GIS tools to apply mosquito population control treatments at regular intervals to areas in Waterloo, Hamilton, and London, Ontario.

With the Integrated Management Systems & Continual Improvement team, I assisted in audits of water and wastewater facilities in York Region to ensure conformance with the environmental and quality management systems. Over the course of my work term, I also produced and delivered training on environmental compliance and risk management.

Novotel Toronto Centre

As a specialist in ISO 14001, I was tasked with developing an Environmental Management System for Novotel Toronto Centre in order to achieve ISO 14001 certification. As a result of my work and guidance, the hotel had a successful audit and is now the first Accor Group hotel in North and Central America to be certified under ISO 14001.

Fect Brampton

As a member of the Health, Safety, Environment, and Security department, I designed and implemented initiatives to improve well-being of employees and reduce likelihood of injury. These included ergonomic assessments, workflow analyses, and hazard identification.

Novotel North York

Independently created an Environmental Management Systems policy manual and implementation action plan to the ISO 14001 standard.- Coordinated department heads to implement a company-wide ISO 14001 certification initiative

Connaught National Army Cadet Summer Training Centre

Directed all training of a thirty member platoon of cadets throughout the Air Rifle Marksmanship Instructor Course.- Employed as a civilian specialist in marksmanship, biathlon, and instruction- Head coach of the platoon, supervising and directing junior staff to ensure improvements in marksmanship- Chief instructor of the platoon, leading and mentoring junior staff to improve their skills in teaching
