Additionally I was responsible for production LDAP DIT design, maintenance and tools.Mozy backend:- Staged software roll-outs across multiple datacenters and continents- Performed capacity planning and assessment, including migration of user data among datacenters- Regularly participated in software design and QA test case review meetings- Identified and suggested several key performance enhancements for Mozy backend- Wrote and maintained CFEngine3 bundles- Was the final escalation point for end user incident troubleshootingProjects:- Designed a system to track user account moves, wrote the scripts to oversee the move process and wrote tools for generating automated progress reports.- Moved 108,000 user accounts and associated data totalling approximately 9PB from one United States datacenter to another in preparation for the decommissioning of the source datacenter.- Completed, 2 weeks ahead of schedule, the move of approximately 1.2 million user account catalogs from one datacenter in Europe to another allowing for physical consolidation of equipment among datacenters.- Developed a process and report for tracking the re-balancing of US and European catalog servers and then implemented this process. The re-balance project resulted in the elimination of 10s of thousands of failed backups due to overloading.
