Since joining Galileo in March 2019, I have played a key role in maintaining and scaling data center resources, working with VMware, Cisco UCS, and Red Hat virtualization technologies. My expertise spans across a range of Linux distributions including CentOS, Oracle Linux, and Red Hat, with a focus on system performance, security, and automation. In 2020, following Galileo's acquisition by SoFi, I was integral to our cloud migration initiative, supporting the transition from on-premises systems to AWS. I was directly involved in standing up many EC2 instances and configuring environments to meet the needs of our teams. I also gained significant experience working with Amazon Workspaces, preparing custom images, and ensuring seamless cloud adoption. My technical expertise extends beyond Linux to include a strong understanding of networking and related services such as DNS, DHCP, and LDAP, as well as proficiency in core AWS services like EC2, S3, Route 53, VPC, and load balancing. In recent roles, I have become the team expert in Puppet, managing compute infrastructure with dozens of custom manifests. With a solid foundation in multiple programming languages—including Python, Ruby, Perl, PHP, C/C++, and C#—I have successfully contributed to the development of automation scripts and custom tooling to streamline operations.
