Alan is Managing Partner of Duxton Consulting Group, a Company that he co-founded with Laurenz Koehler in 2009.Duxton works with a wide range of clients ranging from Singapore Government to Financial Service Companies, and Consumer Goods to Service Organisations.Alan and Laurenz are also founders of MyChoice Pte Ltd, which provides innovative research-based marketing tools to optimise brand share and profitability.Alan began his career with J. Walter Thompson (JWT) in Toronto, Canada, and was later transferred as General Manger of the Malaysian Company based in KL. He then went on to manage the newly formed JWT Hong Kong operation, and later opened JWT China and JWT Taiwan. Alan became JWT President Asia-Pacific and was appointed to the JWT Worldwide Board and Executive Committee. After 10 years of his leadership, JWT Asia Pacific operations more than tripled in sized and moved from a loss position to 24% of global profits.Retiring from JWT, he returned to the UK he became an angel investor. However at the behest of Sir Martin Sorrell, CEO of WPP Group PLC, Alan returned to Asia as CEO of Batey Advertising in Singapore.
