 New Product Development (Make sure to deliver the right products to the customers): i> FPS: Create the product spec; ii> ID proposal: Work with the factory to get the best ID proposal; iii> Solution slection & Design review & Tooling review; iv> Technical management including schedule, ceritificaion, compliance, performance testing management; Product release, etc. v> Make all documents meet Best Buy’s system requirements.  New technology study and research, and work with PM on the new business opportunities Product Improvements: Continuously monitor the marketing data (Such as customer rating), and do the improvements.  Digital first and Dotcom improvement: Answer the customer’s questions diary, and check the dotcom information (Apply for the correcting if need).

 New factory QMS audit. New product development: >>>Follow up the product reliability testing and packaging transportation testing, and update to the cross functional team if there is any failure. Drive the improvement for the failures. >>> Conduct the IPA and IPC audit for PP stage, and send the mass production notice to the vendor if passed;>>> Work with the 3rd party on the shipment inspection.  PP & 1st MP production audit, and regular production audit after MP to improve FPY.  Marketing KPI improvement (Customer Rating, R&E Rate and Warranty Rate):>>> Monitor the marketing data and share the data to the team monthly.>>> Work with the cross functional team and the factory, and took the actions to improve the impacted SKU, such as creating the shipping label format, adding 8K on-line testing and CCD inspection, etc.  Re-fresh the reliability testing standard based on the industry or marketing feedback (Most of them are without cost up), such as USB A bending cycles upgraded from 800 cycles to 3000 cycles. It brought the significant improvement on the customer rating and warranty. The current averaged warranty is about less than 1%.

Oct, 2016 – 2018, Responsible for IQC & QA & QE (Total three sections).  Responsible for the external audit, like ISO audit, CCC audit, UL audit, customer’s quality audit. Before the audit, organize to review internally and do the preparations; Agreement Review. Review the customer’s agreement and give the comments; Responsible for resource allocation internally and among the departments;  Lead the team to establish the weekly plan, and do the weekly work report to the general manager;  Perform the weekly quality system review and regular training to improve the quality level;  Handling for the customer complains, 8D, RMA, etc (English report);  Hold the QBR and annual meeting with the customer; April, 2009 – 2011, QE engineer (NP QE, QAE, CQE). Job responsibilities: (1) NPI :  Transform the customer’s requirements into the internal documents, and discuss with the R&D team on how to conduct the requirements, like, RTP, safety test plan, NTC test plan, CTQ;  Establish the quality control plan according to the project schedule and customer’s requirements: Including to establish the detail input & output, which needs to include the all cross function team’s input and output, since it is the quality responsibility to judge whether the product can run into the mass production or not. Perform the product electronic parameter data checking, software test, acoustic test, and other tests according to the specifications, and then, feed back the result to R&D team. For the failed items, follow them up until close;  Collect all related issues, and organize all of the related departments to do the review meeting for each milestone. Will give the review meeting conclusion whether the project can proceed to the next stage, or whether there is any risk for the project to do the mass production.
