- As a Design Engineer, utilizing Autocad Mechanical, developed new designs of Guard Rail and Frog Assemblies for heavy duty railroad projects. Cleveland facility was losing revenue, so Corporate Office in Germany demanded cutback of personnel.
Nesting Engineer
- As the Nesting Engineer, utilizing SigmaNest software for computerized nesting of customer product designs made of armor, Inconel, stainless, aluminum and steel plate for water-jet, laser and plasma cutting machines. Used Inventor 2018 to manipulate customer files for download to the nesting process. Business lost its' largest revenue customer of $2.5 million/yr so many layoffs occurred.
Manufacturing Engineer/Contractor

Manufacturing/Mechanical Designer, R&D/Contractor
As a contracted engineer, used Solidworks 2014 and 2015 for development of new products, improve current product designs, as well as production tooling to improve cost efficiencies and reliability as required by manufacturing and/or R & D. Worked closely with Quality and Manufacturing personnel to develop and design a pressure induced test stand to perform product validations per the design inputs and product specs for a new product line of injection molded floor drains. Active participant of a designated Continuous R & D team, with the task of revamping a plumbing product line for newly constructed residential homes to further increase our market hold over our competitors.-Contract completed.
Project Engineer
Worked with Sales Engineering and/or customers to develop custom hydraulic power units that sufficiently satisfied customer requirements for in-plant hydraulic powered systems. Developed CAD generated hydraulic power units for customer approval prior to fabrication. Kept our 3d library component continuously improved and up to date to assist in quicker turn around time of customer layouts.
Manufacturing/Tooling Engineer
Responsibilities included reverse engineering of diesel fuel injection components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies for large rigs, generators and locomotives.
